One of the best school i been too. I have studied at this school for 5 years and have seen the changes that occur at the school. Though the facility might seen small but it compact full of activities and held a few sport event.
The teaching quality here is also great with variety of teachers and teaching styles. Though sometime we argue with the teachers and their methods teaching but it also shown us that life isn't always fair and it easier to learn this now rather than learning it in the real world.
With traffic, well there no way to sugar coat this but yes it bad but it depend on the time you leave. If you know which time there will be traffic wake up early to avoid this. Traffic isn't the school fault nor being late to school, it more of the students and family problem. I live in district 7 and I got the school at 7:00 am every morning, waking up 5:45 am became a habit and leaving the house at 6:30 am when I know traffic start at 6:45.
Overall it a great school with many opportunity for student to grow and their graduate go to top school in the world ( University of Toronto, Penn state, Michigan, Wisconsin, Melbourne, .... etc) . The school also has university level course offered at the school for students who want to earn university credit.
I joined ISHCMC AA during my last year of high school and honestly it was a superb experience. The teachers were caring and willing to support you (academically and mentally). Most importantly, this is a place where I feel like students will get fully prepared for study abroad. There are courses and events like senior bootcamps that allow students to learn and experience more about college life and application. The only downside is the campus is too small and the student population is not diverse.
This is a grade 6-12 American curriculum school with a highly experienced and dedicated faculty of teachers from around the world. The school focuses on the development of students' academic skills, including English language as well as their character and mindsets for success in life. The majority of graduates from AA pursue post-secondary education outside of Vietnam.
