Hope Academy of Bishkek offers comprehensive English-language instruction from preschool through 12th grade to the children of expatriate workers in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic.
We are committed to addressing the uniqueness and potential of each child; encouraging the spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth of our students; and instilling an ethical worldview that will equip them for effective service to society.
As a student who attended Hope Academy for 6 years, and graduated from Hope, I love the community at Hope Academy, and the effort the teachers put into building into the students, and the mentorship they brought. I am very thankful that I was able to attend Hope, and thankful for all the good relationships I built, and lessons I learned.
Hope Academy is a great school. My oldest daughter spent her last two years of highschool there and my youngest daughter is in grade 10, looking to finish out there. The teachers have loved and cared and prayed for each of them, and we would recommend the school to anyone. The charter was just approved by a vote of the parents, and it looks like the new charter will provide security, sustainability, and longevity to the school. Hats off to those who worked so hard to create one that satisfied everyone's needs. The high school needs a few more teachers for next year, but we are hopeful they will be found. Thank you to all the teachers who give sacrificially so our children can receive such a high level of education so far from home!
This is an incredible school doing incredible work in Bishkek. Having met some of the staff that work there I can say I have never before found people so dedicated to serving their community as the leaders at Hope Academy.
There was a time for a national holiday, that the staff were forced to sign an agreement agreeing to work on a national holiday for their normal pay rate instead of the special rate. Very shady and clearly immoral.
