How would you rate Hong Kong Academy (HKA)?
My sons have been at HKA since the start of primary school - ever since we arrived in Hong Kong. As they move into their final few years of school, and start to think about what they might want to do after graduation, they continue to experience an excellent education delivered by highly professional and caring teachers. One of them loves sport, the other is more interested in music and maths, the schools facilities are top notch throughout with everything they need to succeed available to them. They are both flourishing and have built a fantastic network of international friends across varying grade levels who will no doubt provide them with connections across the globe as they mature into young adults.
A very warm and friendly community
The school has great facilities and a caring faculty.
Treat good teachers terribly, replace them with useless friends of the management. Nepotism galore. Worst graduating classes in hk, even the students that go to good school are no thanks to hka. Head of school uses “non profit” money to fly business to watch Arsenal games.

Love the school environment. Wish I went here as a kid. There's a cafeteria and a cafe with fresh, wholesome homemade food. Indoor and outdoor playground with small garden and digging area, sand pit, frog and guinea pigs. Arts room looks really pro too. They have a very good recycling programme and composting system. Kids learn through exploration, research and play. A rarity in Asia.

Myself and my children (grade 3 & grade 10) both love this school. Most teachers are excellent teachers and lovely people. The school community is diverse, welcoming and fun. Most importantly, the academics are top notch and include well being curriculum and service to the community
