About Haileybury Almaty
Haileybury Almaty opened in 2008, in association with Haileybury in the United Kingdom. This not-for-profit educational project was financed by the group of Kazakhstani businessmen. Haileybury Almaty offers a broad, liberal education in the best traditions of British independent schooling. Pupils are prepared for Advanced Levels (‘A levels’), which enable them to apply to and enter the best universities both abroad and in Kazakhstan.
Haileybury Almaty is academically selective and we expect our pupils to achieve excellent examination results at IGCSE and A Levels; our pupils take up places at elite universities in the UK, the US, Europe, Asia and around the world. In addition to providing intellectual rigour, challenge, and encouraging academic curiosity, we provide a holistic education that balances academic achievement with the development of character, resilience, and leadership. All pupils are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of the widest range of co-curricular activities on offer at Haileybury Almaty.

I was there 3-4 times for several occasions. Last one was charity fair. Nice building and excellent facilities

Nice school with great facilities. Wish I could have such possibilities 20 years ago. Mostly kazakh pupils plus several percent of internationals. People speak english in school. Child can learn english easily in 3-6 months. Good placement on map near alfarabi ave.

worst school ever, teachers are ignorant to different teaching methods and focuse on only one method of teaching. while of course there are exceptions i think that this school is absolute rubbish
