George Washington Academy (GWA) celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2017-2018. Since its founding, GWA has served the metropolitan area of Casablanca, Morocco with a preschool through 12th Grade education grounded solidly in 21st Century American pedagogy and built around a multilingual program. GWA students come from Morocco, the United States, and more than three dozen other countries in the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Likewise, GWA’s faculty represent a mix of expat and Moroccan educators, with all classes taught in the native language of the teachers teaching them. While most students come from international business and upper-middle to upper class families, GWA’s financial assistance program helps foster socioeconomic diversity in the student population.
GWA inspires students to become multilingual, lifelong learners who pursue excellence,
model integrity, and honor cultural diversity.
We educate the whole person by equipping minds and building character, empowering students to serve Morocco and the global community with wisdom and compassion.
I have been in this school my whole life. I love it here it is very welcoming and our teachers help you in every way possible. I would without a doubt recommend this school to everyone. This school is suitable for almost every age. Honestly I have looked at other school in Morocco this school is by far the best that I have encountered in many différents ways for example the Food, the character for people, and the acceptance of all different cultures. This is a international school that teaches mainly English but also French and Classic Arabic.
