My son has been at GEMS United for 2 years (KG2 and Grade 1) and will attend Grade 2 soon. We have seen a great progress in his academic performance, and most importantly his personal development. The teachers and counsellors work together to make sure that each child is happy at school and smaller classroom sizes make this possible. The school offers a safe and friendly place for students, open communication among the management, teachers and parents, and a strong sports program. The low-rise facilities with plenty of green and open spaces makes it a cozy environment.

When we moved in Dubai we did all the visiting of the schools with different curriculum. It was overwhelming and, like most of the people moving here, we were looking for a good school that could be also a happy place for our kids moving in the middle of the year. When we entered this school I felt welcomed. It is a small school unlike most school in Dubai, and that is why you feel at home. Lots of green, everybody say Hi, amazing classes with lots of natural light and a class ratio of 10:1. Academically very good and with important accreditations. Especially if you're looking in higher grades there are a lot of PA available. Customized teaching that is very important for me. My kids are in elementary and Middle School.

I find the school to have many qualities. Most of all however, my 12 yr old son is happy to go every day....this alone says a lot. The school has grown a lot in the past years and we, as parents, recognize and appreciate the quality of the staff and the teachers. Good job!!

Initially we enrolled at GEMS United (formerly BPA) because we were waitlisted for the 2 big American schools here. Mid year we got seats for both kids at both of the large schools. We turned them down because we absolutely LOVE this school. Great programs, wonderful teachers, and an inclusive community that can’t be found at any other school in Dubai. The school prepares the students for the rigors of college academics without destroying their love of learning. (Our oldest is a graduate and is currently attending a tier 1 university in the states.) Take a tour of the school and you will see for yourself!

We have had our 3 swedish boys at GUS for 7 years. They have all loved the school and have grown up to be independent and top performing young adults. We can really recommend GUS to anyone who wants to find an American school in Dubai.
