About GEMS Royal Dubai School
Opened in September 2005, GEMS Royal Dubai School offers an exceptional quality of education from Foundation Stage to Year 6. It is the only outstanding primary school in the Mirdif area and offers the National Curriculum for England, taught by British trained and experienced teachers who have been chosen for their ability to create a motivational, child-centred environment.
This has led to GEMS Royal Dubai School being recognised as ‘Outstanding’ by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) and certified as a British School Overseas (BSO). If you have a young family to educate and live in Dubai, you are very fortunate for more than geographic reasons.

The change of leadership has had a major affect on RDS. There will be a high turnover of staff this year. It is not the school it used to be - the family feel has gone.
My elder daughter though gifted they never worked on her, never encouraged her, principle bullied her, kids bullied her, end up after 8 years to hate herself and to be treated with a psychology dr. School knows but instead to take action they fight back and ask me to leave if I am not happy. My son 7 years at school, he can't write simple sentence in arabic and can't write 2 sentences in english together. My son will finish grade 6 and move to grade 7 no arabic no English writing language. We get only ignorance, lies, attitude, no one listen and can take action, all say its ok of his level is weak, so what doesn't matter.zero commitment.

When I went to this school it was a great school. The teachers were great especially the pe staff ( Ms East, Mr Galas, Ms Rubery, Mr Thompson, Mr gardener, Ms Robinson, Mr Hassoun) and would solve any problem I had. This school gave me a lot of great memories and it will be in my heart forever. I would love to have the chance to come back just for 30 mins or an hour just to see the school and say hello to all my old teachers and relive the unbelievable memories.

Respected owner according to parents views there should be some ethics to deal with parents... And for students (there should be career councilng for better achievements. there should be some positive motivator like a life coach then your school system can boost up ....

It's not like what I thought, I was very disappointed . No one listen to us when we have a problem. They don't respect parents at all. All what they care for is the fees. Their teachers are always right and sure parents are wrong and always mistaken. They just listen but never solve. I'm moving my kids from this school, it's just wasting of money . How they took outstanding I don't know !!!
