How would you rate Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro (EARJ)?
Amazing place to work with great professional community. Caring leadership and great students.
I went to this school for five years, and its one of the best schools I have ever been to, I would kill to go back i honestly hate my new school, I think they give a reasonable amount of homework not too much, all the teachers are super nice and so caring and most teachers actually care about mental health, the principal, councellor and all the staff from this school is amazing, and its not just the academic part that amazing, this school goes to competitions every semester against other schools in Brazil which is one of the best experiences ever, i did a competition once only and i would love to live that again, and the artistic part is amazing as well, they have an amazing art and drama class with great drama and art teachers, and the drama students preform plays and its amazing, every grade starting from 6th grade has electives which is something my new school doesn't have, which i think is really bad but the best part to me is the school campus and the athletic part of the school, its located in a mountain in a jungle and its beautiful u can see a lot of other mountains and favelas from certain parts of the school and it has amazing views, overall i think its an amazing school and you would not regret sending your kids there if you lived in rio, its not just a good school with a good campus but its also an American International school, meaning there are kids form all over the world in the school and its a really great way to make new friends and learn about others cultures, beliefs etc. I could talk about this school in a good way for hours, the people are very nice all the staff are amazing it located in a beautiful place the art and athletic part are great and its overall the best school you could think of its not too stressful from my experience and its an amazing school to go to.

As an EXTREMELY biased (Class of 1987 Alumnus) reviewer, I have to say this is one of the finest schools around. Tantas saudades! Happy Birthday, EARJ!
