About Ellipse Montessori Academy
Ellipse Montessori Academy is an international bilingual school located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, welcoming children from toddlers to high school.
As it has grown, Ellipse Montessori Academy has created an innovative, educational program combining several methods and curriculums. As a result, children from ages 2 to 11 benefit from Montessori pedagogy, an approach that aims to support the child’s natural development by creating an environment adapted to their needs and characteristics related to their age.
Our international middle school (ages 12 to 15) is a unique model : It holds a balanced mix of the Montessori spirit, new pedagogies (Steiner, Freinet), the Cambridge Programme, and the acquisition of skills in the National Education’s core curriculum.
Our international high school (ages 15 to 18) provides high educational standards by following the world-renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge Curriculums. As a candidate school for the diploma programme, we are pursuing authorization as an IB world School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education – that we believe is important for our students.
The school is accredited by the French Ministry of Education and Cambridge. It is also a member of the International Montessori association (AMF/AMI).

A bilingual Montessori in the center of Paris near the Eiffel Tower. My American daughter has had a terrific experience at Ellipse and strengthened her French skills while maintaining her English. Many great options for after school programming such as Judo, Ballet, Theatre and Patisserie.

Our children aged 8 and 12 are delighted at Ellipse. They can of course cultivate their bilingualism, but above all they have found a framework in which they can flourish academically and socially. Finally a caring AND rigorous, interesting AND ambitious school for our children!

My son really shows abilities in French, English, math, reading and others. The concept of Montessori is fully respected and the material is renewed every year to adapt to the kids. I put my son in Ellipse Montessori when I saw him wasting away in the classical system. In a few months, he revealed himself, regained his self-confidence, became more and more curious and happy to learn. He himself said thank you for this gift. The team is just wonderful and caring while gently stimulating the students towards excellence. THANKS.
