How would you rate Elian’s British School La Nucía?
This school is horrible, even public schools are better. The food is disgusting, and students behavior is unavailable, and teachers do nothing about it.
The school is very racist, towards my little son, this very heartbreaking for me because i believed in this school to make my son a little more smarter, but now he is more stupid then ever.
The school is overall bad but the worst is that the teachers are racist, sexist, towards non-spanish students and that the boys bathroom doesnt have a door, so sometime the boys go to the girls bathroom which is disgusting, and the teachers do nothing about it!!
My child had a very bad experience of bullying.
Lady Elizabeth school is better.
Very poor quality of teaching with children having lots of free time due to lack of suitable teaching staff , motivation is non existent for both children and teachers it seems . The head and deputy head are totally unapproachable with very little regard for pupils or parents needs. But, the biggest issue for us was the terrible problem the school seems to have with bullying , all schools have some bullying , but this is on a different scale , with the most worrying thing being that there is no interest in trying to resolve the problem. We are so relived to be leaving this school , its a shame because it used to be a brilliant school but it seems it has now turned into a business rather than a school.
It's such a shame that the school has changed so much now it is part of a larger group. Under the previous owners, it was a much more caring environment. Although significant improvements have been made with regards to facilities and technologies, it is sad to see so many disheartened staff after knowing some of them for many years when they taught my older children. To witness how their drive and enthusiasm has changed it can only be because they do not feel valued by current management. Indeed, it seems many long standing, respected members of staff have been sacked for no reason other than having longer contracts and pay increases only to be replaced with cheaper teachers who either don't stay or do not understand the ethos many parents chose the school for. I know some teachers personally outside of school and it's a shame to hear how undervalued they feel and that is a shame when Elian's was once so we'll thought of in the community.
My children are very happy at the school. The teachers are very supportive and helpful and inform me of my children’s progress regularly. The curriculum is interesting for my primary children and they offer a good variety of courses for my eldest child. The school is very welcoming and the children feel happy and loved.
Bad experience. Bulling in the school. Not attentive teachers. Had a very bad accident with cruelty of primary teacher, shocked that such an educational approach can exist in 21st century. We were forced to leave the school after 2 months from starting. Psychological trauma of my child and financial loss. Academic program is also very week, knowlage of my children was evaluated much lower in new school. Teachers smoking in the school, giving a negative example to the students. School uniform is very expensive, but much lower quality than in other English language schools. Toltal disappointment. NOT RECOMMENDED

Wenn die Schulleitung selbst nicht die Grundsätze von Anstand und Höflichkeit besitzt, wie will sie das den Kindern vermitteln? Nicht zu empfehlen.
