About Eden School
Eden School Geneva is a private institution that offers a French-English bilingual education for children from 3 to 12 years old. The subjects taught at school respect both the academic programs of the Swiss and the French systems, thus offering a freedom of choice at the end of the schooling at Eden School (even the possibility of joining a IB program).
The particularity of the pedagogy applied at Eden School is to allow each child, through individualized teaching in small groups, to develop as much their academic skills as their personal skills (critical thinking, thinking by themselves, curiosity, self-confidence, solutions driven, etc.). This is done in an atmosphere that encourages self-fulfilment and the pleasure of learning.
Eden School is recognized Lab School in Positive Discipline by the American Positive Discipline Association.
Eden School has obtained the Swiss Quality School Certificate (QSC) and the EcoSchool Label.
Eden School is a member of AGEP.

If you are looking for a school which will teach your child a love of learning, look no further, Eden is the right place. The school has adopted a holistic teaching approach which makes sure that every child's needs ( academic as well as emotional) are met. While the academic is clearly at the core of the school, the pedagogical team also perpetually strives to help develop the students' intra and inter-personal skills ( autonomy, collaboration, empathy, perseverance ect...) To do so, the teachers are continually trained with the latest pedagogical tools: flipped classroom, project-based learning, mindfulness, innovative maths strategies based on the latest neuro-scientific studies. Ultimately, the school has adopted a successful Positive Discipline to teaching which ensures that each child's emotional as well as physical needs are met. I believe that if you are looking for a school which will successfully shape the next generation, you have stopped at the right place.

This is a good school for the younger kids. It has a beautiful environment. The teachers are excellent. That it is bilingual is also wonderful. However, for parents, this school is less than ideal. Despite being one of the most expensive private schools in Geneva, it has about 20 more days of vacations, compared with public schools in Geneva; moreover, it starts later in the morning (8.15) and ends sooner in the afternoon (15:30); even "garderie" ends an hour earlier than public schools (5pm versus 6 pm). Moreover, during the covid confinement period, very little teaching was offered to younger pupils.
