About Ecole des Nations
Ecole des Nations was established in 1989. It is managed by a Foundation Board which is responsible for the long-term strategy and administration of the School. The day-to-day management of the School is carried out by a manager, appointed by the Foundation Board.
In 2007, faced by the obligation to leave the premises, and repeated requests from parents for education covering the entire Elementary school curriculum, a possibility of expansion arose with nice spacious premises which previously housed another school. This move made it possible to offer education up to 12 years old and 91 students were able to integrate this new space.
Our School applies the Plan d'Etudes Romand (PER), in accordance with the Montessori pedagogy. The pupils take part in the “Epreuves communes”. Our School is ECO-SCHOOL certified.
The School is an Official Cambridge Examination Centre and prepares our pupils for the Cambridge exam "Young Learners Certificate", "Starters", "Movers" and "Flyers".

Excellent school with great teachers. Love the Montessori pedagogy and a wonderful start to a child's' schooling. This School is in a quiet street with greenery and parks around creating a fun place to continue playing upon school exit hours whilst parents can mingle in a continued family atmosphere. This school with more or less the same administrative issues as other schools is highly recommended. Kids are happy and learning and that is all that counts.

Both my children love the school. The teachers are motivated, kind, professional. listened to my children and established a durable connection with them. When my son moved schools (for age reasons) he integrated very well in a more traditional system. Montessori Nations has helped my kids be strong and committed citizens also thanks to peace education and the respect it fosters amongst kids.

Ecole des Nations is a small school which creates almost a "family environment" and is therefore particularly well suited for younger children. After our move to Geneva 5 years ago, my son has spent all the time there. Always in close relationship with his teachers, he has developed well on a personal level but also academically. Now he will move to a more traditional school system.

Excellent teachers, lovely staff, individual approach to each pupil. My child spent 5 years in this school developing an amazing creativity, curiosity and an impressive problem solving attitude. I am sure is related to the Montessori method and to the education received in this school. Strongly recommended!

I know this school from the inside thanks to an internship carried out during my training. I can attest to his fidelity to Montessori pedagogical principles and to its values, carried by the management and the members of the team. I saw independent children there, happy to learn and to work in a calm and happy atmosphere with professional and caring teachers. An excellent Montessori school!
