Absolutely do not recommend this school. I’ve visited many other international schools in Korea, and Dwight is most likely the smallest out of all. I would say the tuition is not worth it. The majority of teachers here hate their jobs and their students. The current school counselor has a habit of belittling and bullying students - deteriorates students’ mental health. There are also a few pedo allegations amongst kids here. Some of the ‘courses’ are so useless it baffles me. There is an overly excessive amount of sex-ed and LGBTQ teachings. Not only, there is too much time wasted in teaching students about very simple knowledge of hygiene, emotions, and peer pressure. I guarantee that at least like 9 out of 10 kids hate it. But the school can’t care less about students’ feedback! The school itself is problematic, has been in a lot of controversial news reports. They force the high schoolers to babysit the elementary schoolers every Wednesday for 2 hours and sometimes we’re forced to participate in boring, useless games, like throwing hula hoops. The cafeteria food, extracurricular activities and uniforms are so expensive here, yet the lunch ladies even hesitate to give out seconds, it’s ridiculous! If your children are young, they may enjoy it here but I wouldn’t recommend for middle and upper schoolers. Dwight is a new school. SFS and SIS are much more rigorous. Never in my life have I been so devastated and unmotivated because of school. I can’t express how happy I am to finally leave. Don’t walk into your own nightmare. Don’t blame me if you do, but I warned you and better run while you can !!

Dwight is a horrible school, it is miles behind other international schools, the worst characteristic of this school is the teachers since most of them are not even qualified. The school is not really international since most of the kids here are Korean obviously and they take up around 80% of all kids for this reason, you will hear more Korean than English every single day. Teachers bring a lot of discussion in this school and especially after a teacher was caught having sexual intercourse with a student outside of school, almost all teachers have heavy preferences especially male teachers towards female students. The school also has a major preference towards Asian students and heavily diminishes other students such as white students due to their historical past of having a certain domination towards Asians and other races. This school is absolutely horrible and it's crazy expensive so doesn't even bother to send your child here because you will regret it and your child will have the worst time of his academic life and I could say this because my child was heavily left out from his teachers for being a straight white male which in this school seems to be illegal apparantely and was heavily bullied by his teachers.

This school is a cesspit filled with very competitive pretentious rich kids who have a superiority complex and will make others feel inferior due to them getting a lower grade. Punishments are often unfair and teachers are really strict. It is not worth the amount of money. And although this school may look like an international school, don't be fooled as only a third of the kids at this school are from different countries.

Communist school. Teachers control the students and manipulate their grades. No textbook curriculum makes it difficult for students to do assignments. Students are all discouraged from going to their dream uni. Don’t send your kid here, they won’t acknowledge your abilities.

Opinion : actually wanted to give no stars... Conclusion: Very Poor school system. IB philosophy itself is great but how it’s been practiced in this school is in my opinion not in line with the philosophy. Just to name a few, grading system is not clear nor transparent. It is not even well explained to students. Some Teachers are also confused of Dwight Seoul IB School System. This really discourages students. Not worth spending your money here for IB education. Do not be mislead. Please take a look around few big schools in Korea and compare how those other schools run their school system for students. Then decide. Also, when in doubt it’s not worth discussing issues with the Dwight Seoul nor try to understand how Dwight Seoul runs its school system. Just transfer to another school and save your time and energy for the best interest of your child.

Do not send your kids here. When visitors arrive; we are taught to be on our best behavior. The teachers are biased, the head board is biased, they dont care about your mental health and they are in it for the money. They do not care about their students, and it shows. My mental health has been the worst. Nobody will believe you; they give unfair punishments and are hypocrites. I would give this 0 stars.

One of the best International school in seoul. No doubt it is expensive. Highly qualified International staff from different countries serves their best with modern facilities. School provides three IB programs. Very co operative staff and friendly envoirment.

I go to Dwight School Seoul, the school system has flexibility and it is diverse. This school has other Dwight Schools around the world, so we can connect with them too. We are international and care for everybody. If you are looking for a new school - as a Dwight student, I recommend here. Because it is different than other schools. - 20th, February, 2018, Jason Kim, 6B.

Very bad school. Doesn’t care about the quality of teachers and just puts in people that are the cheapest pay. Also doesn’t care for students’ college acceptances, and thinks college is not important in the future of students. If you want your child to get into a top university, Dwight is not the choice for you.
