There is a word in the Welsh language that does not really have an English equivalent. The word is “hwyl”. It is a word that needs to be said with passion… HWYL! If you look it up in a dictionary, it is translated as “a stirring feeling of emotional motivation and energy”. I endeavour to build some hwyl into education; to instil this quality throughout the school and to make education even more passionate, engaging and exciting. Students should love every single day of their education. As a school, we at Deira Private School aim to make this a reality.
Our mission is to develop well rounded, confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential. We will do this by providing a welcoming, happy, safe, and supportive learning environment in which everyone is equal and all achievements are celebrated.
We believe that a happy child is a successful one. We intend that all children should enjoy their learning, achieve their potential and become independent life-long learners. Our school empowers all students to embrace learning, achieve their personal best and build their emotional, social and physical well-being. We aim to educate all students to the highest levels of academic achievement, to enable them to reach and expand their potential. We will prepare our students to be successful, confident, responsible and innovative members of society.

I would like to highlight one of the members of the Deira School, Ms. Effie Fernandes, the HR coordinator. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your exceptional efforts and unwavering enthusiasm throughout my interactions with you at Deira School. Your professionalism and dedication to your role have truly left a lasting impression on me. From our initial communications to the final stages of the recruitment process, your attention to detail and proactive approach were evident every step of the way. Your ability to navigate the complexities of HR with such ease and grace is truly commendable, and it has been a pleasure to work alongside someone as talented and passionate as yourself. Moreover, your genuine enthusiasm for your work shines through in everything you do. Your positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for both candidates and colleagues alike are truly inspiring. It is rare to encounter someone who approaches their role with such enthusiasm and dedication, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with you. Your professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and I want to thank you wholeheartedly for your outstanding contributions to Deira School. Your commitment to excellence sets a benchmark for others to aspire to, and I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great things in your career. Once again, thank you for your exceptional efforts and enthusiasm. You are truly an asset to Deira School, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you again in the future. Warm regards, Mo. Salama
Worst school one could think of joining they will make you work more hours with no appraisal appreciation unless you butter them and do nothing. Only people who can butter gets promoted and they can bully who don't that's the work ethos
Worst school, no communication, kids are transferred to different classes, transport communication is the worst, no proper response. Staff keeps on changing. My daughter's is in fs1 but almost in 3 months 5 staff changed. No development changes in kids academics. Staff are good.
The school lacks in studies. The teachers are not well trained and Qualified. They don't even follow time tables. Teachers are on leave and there is no substitute.

Staffs gave such a warm welcome when we went on a visit. School has many activities and lots more to learn for kids on a practical basis. Last but not the least was very happy to see principal visiting and talking to the parents about kids growth and future plans.
