How would you rate CIS International School of Tunis (CIST)?
This school is so unprofessional. They only care about money. They have no respect for the teachers or the parents. Run for your lives if you want what's best for your child's education!!!
They are accredited yes but they have no idea what the international educators should be. Some of the teachers are really passionate while others act like wardens and seem to hate to teach. The school doesn’t have an indoor gymnasium and seems missing classrooms.
Was not worth it. Very disorganized, untidy and just messy in general. They could be so much better if they tried a bit harder.
Teachers are ambitious, administrative staff are dedicated to their role. Principal is very attentive to all academic and relationships matters. My kids are happy at their school environment, and we are satisfied with their managing manners during the pandemic.

Not a good place to send kids. School seems disorganized, teachers always moving around stressed, English standards are so poor, my english is bad and i am shocked at the level of English even displayed by teachers. awful school, look somewhere else for education.

This school is in chaos. Terrible curriculum management and school structure, awful employee treatment, disorganization, misuse of money, etc. this institution fails it's students, parents, and teachers in every regard. They don't hire staff that are competent, the school's favorite teachers are also teachers that call in "sick" after partying the night before and posting themselves doing so on social media. What's worse, they have no substitute teachers to cover for these absent individuals so they will often times have teachers who are supposed to be teaching other subjects and grade levels filling in with no lesson plans, ensuring that not only the absent teacher's class is effected, but also all the other classes in session during that same period. This all starts however in the upper echelons of management. The leadership hardly ever gives direct answers and instead plays "marry go round", passing the baton to some one else with authority and never giving straight answers. Moreover, money is hardly ever spent getting valuable education materials, instead they put televisions in the front lobby. They fail to tell an employee that they are fired in a decent and respective way and let go of the teachers and staff that work the hardest while promoting the irresponsible behavior of the other educators that don't do their jobs adequately. Don't send your children here. If this school doesn't get it's act together, they will cease to function withing three years. There isn't anything redeemable accept 5 or 6 teachers that pour their hearts out and get fired. 1 star is too high a rating.
