About Canadian Academy (CA)
Canadian Academy Kobe inspires every student to choose to compassionately impact the world throughout their lives– whether through our multiple service opportunities or discovering their passion.
Our rich history as an international school in Japan has allowed us to develop connections with the local and international communities giving our students exceptional learning opportunities from PreK to Grade 12. Whether students enjoy the creative process in our design labs, take part in our mentor program with multinational companies, adventure in our outdoor education program, or experiment in our state of the art science labs, Canadian Academy supports all learners inside and outside of the classroom.
Inspiring teachers and an abundance of academic opportunities build a strong foundation for our students to be successful not just during their time at CA but once they graduate. With the guidance of our world class college counseling program, CA students matriculate to top universities around the world. Our alumni keep Canadian Academy close to their heart, often returning to Kobe sharing their experiences with current students, visiting teachers, and giving back to the community.

How would you rate Canadian Academy (CA)?
Staff who don’t look at the whole child, zero sense of compassion, no sense of inclusive culture.
Poor facilities, good teachers though the students have zero accountability and can easily get by by doing nothing at all. Highly questionable practices, on many levels, by the administration. Bringing in money seems to be their only motivation.

During my three years in Japan, this school was one of the biggest benefits to making them the greatest three years of my life. I went to some great, highly ranked schools besides this one and some of my best teachers were still from CA. The school creates an amazing environment for the students and greatly prepares them for college. I miss it and hope to visit one day.
