CIS Qatar is indeed a compendium of academic egg heads who gives all (time and knowledge) to both students and the drivers of the system with an attempt to contribute to the body of knowledge and also foster an enduring academic life that is exemplary and second to none. In simple terms the school is good.

If I had the option to give this place zero stars, I certainly would. The way they treat their staff is deplorable, devoid of any dignity or respect. Upon arrival, they confiscate your passport under the guise of it being their "policy," but this is in direct violation of Qatar's laws. The accommodations they provide resembles more of a prison than a liveable space. What's worse, the security personnel consistently pester individuals, inquiring about their whereabouts around the clock. While they justify this as a safety measure, it's evident that it's merely a means to monitor the teachers closely.

The treatment of staff during my time employed bordered on the inhumane. Leadership are merely puppets of the Board of the Directors who have know understanding or experience in Education. There is a very much ''rule by fear' approach and there were frequent threats of losing jobs, salary deductions and expectations to work outside of contract hours inside the school premises at short notice at threat of disciplinary action if not adhered to. Cameras are in the classroom not for your protection but to be used against you i.e. you were sat down, classrooms were too noisy during a discussion activity etc. Whilst there were some good teachers, the attitude of the leaders and directors on the school were a disgrace.

Very bad school..I was an educator at the school for 10 months. We were treated like slaves and had to sign warnings for literally anything. The principle would call me after school to go for coffee and actually wanted a relationship knowing that I am a married women. When I told my HOP about the situation she said I was not the only person and that we should ignore it... because they won't believe me. The school misleads parents by telling them it's a British curriculum but there is no curriculum at all. I wish something can be done ✅ Someone must take action especially with the salary deduction...it's not fair we worked hard for that salary and we were promised a bonus but only received 50% for summer holidays.

One of the worst working environment, taleb has one person for checking teachers activity and for one little mistake 3 days salary CUT . In every class and corridors are cameras and a lot of security staff but not for students, cameras is for cutting teachers salaries. Teachers all over the world applying for a job in Qatar, for money , as well , and in the end after salary cutting week after week, every body remaining with a few ryals in their pockets , poor people; they don’t have money to send home for their family.
