About British International School Phuket (BISP)
Learning at British International School Phuket (BISP) is ‘holistic’, in that it cultivates the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive dimensions of the developing child.
While schools organise learning in ‘academic’ and ‘enrichment’ programmes, we do not limit learning to within the walls of any particular classroom or within the boundaries of any particular ‘subject’. We understand that learning happens everywhere at any time. Our model for holistic learning aims to develop the whole child, and to instill a lifelong love of learning through active engagement.
The English language is the medium of learning and teaching at BISP. Those students who require additional English language support are invited to join our Intensive English Programme, delivered as part of the school day. We review a student’s ability and suitability for a place at BISP and will include references to recent reports/transcripts from current and previous schools.
The school seeks to ensure that there is a balance of pupil nationalities and that we maintain our status as a truly ‘international school’.
BISP considers that all students have individual needs and attention to these is part of our educational practice. When students require additional support they are assisted by Learning Support teachers, counsellors or outside external agencies in consultation with parents and appropriate professionals.

Surely one of the most impressive schools in Asia. Amazing sprawling green grounds, incredible facilities including world class academies for Football, Tennis, Golf, Swimming and even a Flying Trapeze and Aerial Arts school! Dedicated and passionate teaching staff and run by a headmaster that is quite simply one of the most inspirational educators you are likely to cross. A dream school!

We passed this British school while crossing the road. Our tour guide pointed to this building and showed us this school. The building and the surrounding area were beautiful !!But I do not know the quality of education in school !!
