About British International School of Stockholm (BISS)
The British International School of Stockholm (BISS) is situated on two sites in the leafy residential suburb of Djursholm, just 15 minutes from central Stockholm. It provides a high-quality, broad education for over 550 children, from 3 to 17 years of age and from more than 45 nationalities. Established in 1980, our school has built a reputation for excellence in both teaching and pastoral care.
With high academic standards and a warm, caring environment, The British International School of Stockholm is the first choice in primary and secondary education for many parents in both the international and local communities.
My children went to The British International School of Stockholm and its the best school I have ever experienced. Lovely teachers, great principal, warm school atmosphere, great activities throughout the year, very good teacher-student ratio. They go the extramile for you just to help your kid feeling comfortable. My son had extra need and really got the extra support he needed without asking. I can strongly recommend this school.
A lovely, well-run school with (at this site) a warm and friendly primary site in an old, quaint building. The school is full of life, covered in artwork and projects and with really good teaching staff. It runs on the British international curriculum, not the Swedish curriculum.
