About Balboa Academy
Balboa Academy provides a US standards-based curriculum in which English is our language of instruction. Our comprehensive and engaging educational program is dedicated to fostering innovative, intellectual growth. We honor individual differences and diversity while focusing on the development of the whole child.
Our nurturing community inspires students to become responsible global citizens with integrity and compassion. Our school is fully accredited by Cognia. Cognia reviews our improvement and growth every five years with a thorough on-site review and follow-up recommendations. Our partnership with Cognia has been beneficial and mutually appreciated. All grade levels insure that our students will be successful and prepared for the next school year and beyond.
Our teachers work closely together to address our students’ special learning needs while maintaining rigor and relevance to our curriculum. Honors and support classes are offered, inclusive support in the classroom is provided, and the general education teacher provides ongoing differentiated instruction to support all learners.

When we think about our families, I think about Balboa Academy. Happy to be serving my seventeenth year alongside many bright, caring educators not to mention the raw material we teach yearly. Education came from a need, however; it is safe to say it has become my passion.

My experience with BA is nothing short of fabulous. The caring and nurturing atmosphere of the school and its teachers has definitely make a difference in the academic lives of my children. I love everything about Balboa Academy... caring teachers, happy children, happy families!
