About American International School of Vietnam (AISVN)
At American International School of Vietnam (AISVN), each student is prepared for leadership in our global community while maintaining a strong set of values based on their cultural heritage. The AISVN student body is 90% Vietnamese and we are very proud to provide a rigorous international IB education sustained by Vietnamese family values. We support our high standards with a variety of programs -- preeminently our English As An Additional Language Program -- and teaching strategies that ensure we identify and address the learning needs of each and every child because we know that every child can learn.
Established in 2006, AISVN has grown from serving children on four campuses in our first years to serving more than 1,200 students today, ranging from Early Years (3 year olds) to Grade 12. Our expansive campus provides the facilities and space to enable our continued growth and a beautiful learning environment.
Our commitment and experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme is evident from the success of our students and graduates. AISVN graduates go on to study at top universities around the world, and our alumni gather regularly to network and exchange ideas.

Unfair treatment in middle school / high school. I wore some piercings to school not visible somehow the assistant principal found out and forced me to take it off or there would be consequences. A lot of the students had revealing piercings but didn’t get any problems with the assistant principal. The uniforms are expensive very. It’s like 300 for a shirt and more. And a calculator is like 2m or higher I could literally go to a bookshop and get it for like 100.000-300.000. The lunches are alright but maybe switch them up every once in a while. And it’s really dirty in the bathrooms if my friend or someone would go in they would get scolded by how messy it is. Paper everywhere. Students are getting bullied and the teachers just tell them to tell the principal. If you guys seen the drama in ishcmc American academy I agree with the mothers actions
Salary delays are being normalized. The school can't expect teachers/staff to remain the same dedication to their students when they are not being paid! The discrimination is too obvious.
The only redeeming thing about this school is the handful of friends I made here, other than that most if not every aspect of this school falls short. Even the one thing they have going for them, the facility, is misused. Money is being spent on useless add-ons like ceiling TVs in the hallways instead of the teachers and staffs. Funny how for a school that’s trying so hard to be American, eagle mascot and all, the voice of the students is drowned out by unreasonable decisions from the higher ups. I’ve never googled “how to give negative star ratings on google” before, thanks for that AIS!
Good facilities, dedicated teachers
My kids love this school, love the way teachers teach them. Example: teachers explain very careful / other ways if they are not clear with nice voice. They said, even teacher explains 10 times and they don't understand, teacher continues find another way and another way until they are clear with that point.
My son growing up from AISVN, teacher are thoughtful and friendly!
Great school for students with IB program. Students and teachers are very friendly.
The atmosphere is good. My child feels happy whenever go to school.
These are unique opportunities where families can directly check out the top-notch facilities and the honorable International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum programmes being delivered at AISVN: ✅ Outdoor playgrounds for Elementary School; ✅ Visual Arts workshops; ✅ Drama rooms with stages; ✅ Multi-purposes gymnasiums; ✅ 5,600 sqm football pitch; ✅ Massive libraries with approximately 50,000 books; ✅ Swimming pool featuring water heating system; and a wide range of educational resources and equipment that makes learning more inspiring and full of energy.
All good now after 7 years

I had a great time here overall, the school is always supportive and the teachers are always nice and friendly for you to be the best you can be. The staffs are friendly, though kinda overpriced with everything, it is a great school.
