About American International School (AIS)
American International School (AIS) is a private, independent institution that serves students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. It has an international program of studies which meets the needs of the multinational community in the UAE. It was inaugurated in August 2003. It has enjoyed strong support from the community since its commencement in September 2003.
American International School is a school that strives to develop a love for learning in each student. Our aim is to foster independent learners, skilled communicators and inquiring students who are willing to challenge the accepted and move into the unknown. It is a state-of-the-art school that will provide the tools and guidance to allow students to sift through the massive information available to them and make informed decisions.

A wonderful and excellent experience with the American School in Dubai
I like the curriculum and the teachers of this school. My kids language and knowledge is rated excellent and that’s due to schools’ way of teaching.

A nice school, staffs are improving, as well as new smartboards are being placed, but still there is issues such as the bathrooms, and the computer room can't handle basic apps, overall the school is very good for its price, I would highly recommend it.

Administration staff is quiet supportive and helpful. My daughter is Ma sha allah Happy with the environment and studies. For a parent it is important that the child is happy and taking interest in studies.

I've seen tremendous changes in the school compare to the previous years. The mode of communication with parents is improving. The school is exerting effort to reach out and share with parents the goals of the school in improving it's academic standards and services by conducting the parents meeting and coffee morning recently . In addition, our children are happy with how the new principal is dealing with the students. She is approachable and nice to them as my daughter told me. The transitions in the school might not be good in the eyes of others, but for me, if its for improving the quality of education for my children and the services for every family I am willing to support the school's initiative to change AIS for the better. Parents need to work with the school hand-in-hand to help the kids.

Teachers barely speak english and They have the option to open the window if they really want to improve just check if the teachers are good enough and please spend all of your easy money on your stuff get the legal versions of windows and do something to make it better, edit: I changed my mind the teachers are getting replaced and became worse so nope only 1 star seriously a bad school. AND they overload homework, the school act like they are the best when there is K.H.D.A or visitors please don't spend your money on this school.
