About Al Jazeera Academy

Every child has the potential to succeed and there are no excuses not to achieve that success. We expect every Al Jazeera Academy  student to graduate from our academy with the qualifications, skills and confidence to achieve their ambitions and go on to higher education or their chosen career.

We are one of three schools of the Ta’allum Group. Students in lower years (Kindergarten – Year 3) learn in a co-ed environment. From Year 4 onwards, boys and girls learn in same gender classes, in separate wings of the school, but still under one roof.

We are committed to providing the best educational experience possible for all students. We are rigorous in our recruitment process to ensure we are providing excellent teachers. We pride ourselves with excellent resources enclosed in a beautifully appointed, purpose-built facility. Our goal is to be recognized as a leading school in the region.

All students are instilled with the importance of respect and courtesy; fundamentals in enabling students to grow beyond subject areas and appreciate the differences in others so they become truly global citizens.

We welcome you to visit our school and see for yourself who we are and what we have to offer.

Wow where do I start - Living conditions for accommodation ridiculed with infestation of cockroaches, cat poo and brutally poor hygiene in general, I would rather sleep on the streets of England than in that filth. Management- have no clue do what they are doing and most do not even have the correct qualifications to carry out such vast ‘operations’ instead they will work you like slaves - this is modern day slavery. The management will throw upon you an avalanche of last minute deadlines and expect it to be done within the next hour. There is no warning or prep talk on the type of behaviour to expect or a breakdown on how to deal with this, there is no support. In the UK you may have 1 or 2 pupils that misbehave , whereas over here, it’s the entire class with children well behind their expected level. Whatever the CEO or the parents say goes, even if you were in the right get ready to be placed in the wrong every time and potentially lose your job. Staff are fired within a week with little to no explanation, if you have kids they don’t care. Principal, deputy head and assistant are incompetent. There is no leadership quality, instead they thrive off throwing individuals under the bus and boast to provide professional development when in fact, all of this was covered back in the dark ages during the cavemen era. MOST IMPORTANTLY- your mental health wellbeing is absent in all of this, sadly you’re seen as numbers. Cheating happens in all exams and data - teachers are told to change the data because it will upset the parents if we don’t. If you don’t comply you’re fired. There is no safeguarding. Please avoid this, there are much better schools in Qatar than this business - I’ll leave the rest to god to deal with.
