Oaktree is definitely a community focused school. We are a family and it feels that way - even during COVID and distance learning, the OPS team cares about our children and the parents. We have had our ups and downs, hustling to be COVID compliant and adapting with the ever changing environment - but with a leadership team like ours, I have no doubt that we will only move from strength to strength. Oaktree have faced what would be seen as setbacks for most schools due to Covid, but they have shown resilience and done their best to provide quality online schooling during the pandemic along with a safe, secure environment for the children when they returned to school. Having smaller class numbers has assisted my son with his educational and emotional needs. The faculty know the children by name, including the principal, this gives you the feeling that the children are cared for and not just a number.
