Ruamrudee International School (RIS) is a Catholic school that provides an interfaith, inclusive, and academically rigorous education for students to be balanced, successful, and compassionate individuals. Ruamrudee International School does more than just educate students; RIS nurtures their heads, hands, and hearts. Class of 2026 alumn here! Being in RIS Minburi has been the most transformative years of my life! Our early year facilties have improved since I was an elementary school student there, and our performing arts facilities are top tier. Although a lot our athletics teams aren't as competitive as those of other schools, we are usually known as the school w/ the "nicest" and most "lovable" athletes due to our sportsmanship. Our elementary and middle school counseling programs taught me about "empathy" from a very young age, and our core principles (head,... Class of 2026 alumn here! Being in RIS Minburi has been the most transformative years of my life! Although a lot our athletics teams aren't as competitive as those of other schools, we are usually known as the school w/ the "nicest" and most "lovable" athletes due to our sportsmanship. Our elementary and middle school counseling programs taught me about "empathy" from a very young age, and our core principles (head, hands, heart) are truly what make RIS students global citizens and fair leaders. RIS students usually score above the global average on IB and AP tests because our academics are constantly held to a high standard. A lot of this year's graduates, including I, graduated with honors. At the end of the day, highschool is what you make of it, but RIS is literally a fertile ground for student leadership, ambition, and charity/clubs/activities. Our community is very tight-knit, and our mascot is a Phoenix that is usually worn by a highschool student! I have some friends in the dorms, and they claim that the dorms here are like hotels due to the cleanliness and rich facilities. Also, I have to mention that many activities and clubs are student-led. We have students taking initiative to choreograph dances for International Day, and we even have students being stage managers and co-directing school productions. We also have service trips and MUN trips where students are sent to different countries! If you want your child to be a caring, bold, and critical thinker, then you should enroll your child here. I thank my parents everyday for enrolling me in RIS Minburi. I've been here since Kindergarten, and it's literally my second home. Not to mention our school theme song is very iconic and I can still remember the lyrics. Lol, I'll miss this school and my friends so much; I am so proud to call myself an RIS graduate. RIS truly made me who I am today. AD ASTRA, you truly are the union of hearts, Ruamrudee.

My daughter has excelled at this school. The academics are better than we imagined, but what really makes a difference is the teachers - they are wonderful and truly care about the kids.

RIS has a safe, friendly and family oriented environment. The facilities are up to date and fully equipped to engage students in a wide range of experiences. I love that RIS stresses such an importance on sports, whether it’s soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton, golf, or swimming! They are also constantly renovating the schools buildings, classrooms, and facilities to stay modern and new!

For 11 years Ruamrudee International School is my home and I spent 30 minutes trying to write the reason why. Turns out I do not need the reason why I stayed with RIS for 11 years as a student. It is the same situation as not needing a reason to why you love someone. I love RIS as a family and a community. I stayed for 11 years and wished that I stayed longer.
