Colegio Suizo Madrid is a Swiss school in Madrid, bilingual in German and part of the network of Swiss schools recognised worldwide. It is a small, family-oriented school with personalised attention and a multicultural community of more than 25 nationalities, working with four languages across the curriculum: German, Spanish, English and French. Pupils progress from Educacion Infantil through Primaria to the Gymnasium stage, where compulsory drama in German and a strong emphasis on external language certification are part of school life. From 1 September 2026 the school joins the international SIS Group, which brings two bilingual streams, German-Spanish and English-Spanish, and a plan for pupils to graduate with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme from 2030.

German is the school's bilingual language of instruction and, being the pupils' main working language from Educacion Infantil onwards, gives them a solid base on which the language is continuously built and extended, to the point that they can study and work without linguistic barriers. Spanish language and literature is a compulsory core subject in Primaria and in the Gymnasium stage. In addition to German and Spanish, pupils learn English and French, and the school reports excellent results in the official language examinations they sit in German, English and French. From September 2026 the school operates two bilingual streams, German-Spanish and English-Spanish.

Sport is a central part of school life, with facilities of around 11,000 square metres. Physical education runs from psychomotor work and swimming built into the timetable for the youngest children through to intensive physical conditioning and a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, tennis and padel. Creative activities take place in the music and dance rooms and the art and crafts rooms, with a multi-purpose hall for Spanish dance and ballet performances. Drama is compulsory and is taught in German, with pupils writing and staging their own plays. The school also runs a summer camp and early exchange visits to other countries, and former pupils recall ski trips among their school activities.

The school is laid out in separate buildings and school zones organised by age. Academic and creative spaces include a central library with informal reading areas, a playroom, multi-purpose rooms, music and dance rooms, art and crafts rooms, a hall suitable for Spanish dance and ballet with a multifunctional stage for performances and events, an aula magna, and a science laboratory equipped for physics, chemistry and biology, including microbiology, cell biology and biochemistry. There is an infirmary, and the school runs its own kitchen with a large dining room. Sports facilities total some 11,000 square metres and comprise an indoor sports centre, outdoor courts for basketball, volleyball and handball, an athletics ring, an artificial-grass football pitch, padel and tennis courts and a table-tennis table; in summer pupils may also use the outdoor pool of the Swiss Club.
