There is a serious lack of help for kids wanting to attend American universities. The counselors are so unhelpful that we had to pay an outside consultant based in the US who knows the universities and the system. In addition, some of the teachers do not have teaching degrees. They are just trailing spouses who happen to have a degree in a subject. I would not recommend ZIS. But there are no other options for kids wanting to take AP courses for American universities.

Following hot on the heels of its sister school in Geneva - Ecolint - ZIS also scores terribly on administration and quality of staff. There are clearly people who are not qualified to be in the senior roles they occupy. The finance department was not helpful and when it came to reimbursing exam fees from the IB - via ZIS - it was a complete shambles and verging on fraudulent activity. The management and running of this school leaves a lot to be desired, particularly against a background of extortionate fees.
