How would you rate The British School of Barcelona?
My daughter is thriving at BSB Castelldefels. Yes maybe the school over promotes itself which can leave a sour taste in your mouth. My daughter is in YR6 and has been to schools in Singapore and London and I can rate BSB with those. We are happy . My daughter is happy. There is great communication from the school and a really welcoming parent community.

Don't be misled by the facilities, this institution is nothing more than a money making machine. Want your child to be treated like a number instead of a child who needs to be nurtured? This is your place. The amount of self-promotion this school undertakes is astonishing. But then again, with students leaving so quickly, is it any surprise?
Terrible place. They sent my daughter home multiple times because she was getting bullied instead of tackling the bullying issue head on. Bullying is commonplace in BSB Sitges and this has had a lasting impact on my daughter.
The BSB has better facilities than other English speaking International schools however, the teaching quality in the other English speaking International school is far above BSB. Don't be fooled by the fake awards and accolades. Toxic environments do not help grow happy, well educated children.
If you're looking for a British education, this establishment does not offer it. Please don't be fooled by the glossy website and private tours. The school is plagued by poor quality teaching and huge staff absence. Please do not be fooled, your child's education is not something to be risked.
Sitges campus. This school is all about marketing. International Penta Outstanding? The only thing astounding here is how they reel new parents in with flashy presentations and portray how well the children perform. In reality, the school is plagued with staffing issues and supply teachers are commonplace, even in early years. The teachers may originate from the U.K. but they would be hard pushed to secure jobs in an underperforming state school, let alone a private institution. If you’re looking for nurturing, attuned childcare which is up to a true British standard, this school does not offer jt. Do not be fooled by the presentations and marketing material. Your child’s education is something you cannot afford to get wrong.
My daughter got expelled by BUROFAX saying we were not página the fees. Pandemic came, school suspended attendance of children and we parents suspended payments in accordance with New pandemic regulations, they denied everything and ignored communications and negotiations to resolve the situation, as other comments above, they're after the money (investment fund). Run away from this school if you care about your children.
By far the best quality education in the local area. Outstanding results (my son has gained great GCSEs and is now going to a top university) and the wider development of my children has also been superb! The recent inspection means it is the only BSO school in Catalunya. This says it all!
Don't get fooled by their facilities. All the rest is worthless. This school used to be one of the bests in Barcelona, but was acquired by a financial fund and since, it is just a business. Lacks of respect, bullying, non attendance of teachers (in higher classes, for MONTHS), no explanations to the parents, copy-paste reports, no obligations or responsibilities... this school is every year worse, but as it is full of rich people, able to pay almost 20.000€, they make a lot of publicity. Just ask them for the IB or A Levels results... not in line with the price you pay. You have way better options.
A giant money machine that is completely soulless. It is run like something from the 1960s. My dyslexic son cannot write faster just because you shout at him. He is much happier at his new school and achieved much better grades at GCSE than at BSB. Good pastoral provision means good relationships not a few of sports clubs.
My son was 6 years in BSB and we left the school las year very dissapointed. As other parents said, looks great outside, the take care a lot of the image they offer to parents and that image is more important than children and their education. I would not reccomend any BSB at all.
After two years, we have decided to leave school. BSB Castelldefels in not what it was. They only brag about how good they think they're, but the reality is that they don't reach educarional excellence. Currently, you're just a number with money.

Since our arrival 18 months ago, we continue to be impressed by the school. Our boys are so happy each morning, love their Teachers, friends and the variety of subjects and after school classes available to them. We are delighted to be part of the BSB community
This money based school only thinks about the Financial results given to the owners (investment fund) and give no importance to the education, they have severe bullying problems unsolved and rotation of teachers and students talk for itself. Don’t trust the looks. It’s rotten in the inside. Ask for the real grades of leaving pupils and you will see how they manipulate the truth. Just look a bit deeper and your eyes will open. Terrible value for money. This covid crisis has been the last drop to show how a bad management affects a school.
Simply the best international school in Barcelona. The teacher are superb as are the facilities for all children og row and develop. Outstanding.
This is by far the best school in Barcelona offering and exciting curriculum which the children can really engage with. If you want teachers who will go that extra mile then BSB is a great choice. My children are achieving very high levels. The new leadership has had a notable impact on standards.

They are an amazing school
The school has been doubling in size over the last two years, and, although the infrastructures are exceptional, this change has been bringing quite some bullying problems and low academic results (especially very low IB results).

Performed here in a concert. Students and staff were extremely kind and the school was very clean and modern.

My school! The teachers are nice! Good facilities. Wish the school’s stairs would be bigger because there are a lot of people. Hhh
