How would you rate Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya?
Happy Parents of the school today with 3 children (first enrollment since 2016). If I were to do this review a year ago, it might be just a 3 stars but today I can see tremendous effort have been put in by school management to continue upgrade the overall quality deliverables. 1. Facilities : Not Tier 1 School facilities but they have what we are looking for generally for an international school when we enrol (Sports facilities ranging from Football Pit (if real grass turf will be 5*+) , Swimming pool, various basketball / badminton courts both indoor or outdoor etc), science labs, art room, dance and drama room, music room, and my favorite spot the Parent Cafe. As opposed to the review below, I do see continuous improvement in the school facilities from time to time. There are hiccups along the way but things get sorted out quickly. 2. Teaching Staff: I am very grateful to say that my children generally have good teachers over the years. No outside supplement (no tuition) needed to date. I am speaking on my own experiences over the years and if there is issues, we can get it escalated directly to the SLT and it will get mediated/resolved within reasonable timeframe. 3. Academic Program: British Cambridge syllabus with a lot of events and in classroom activities, projects, trips on going to enrich the learning experiences. 4. Cultural: This will be 2 thumbs up so far with the amount of cultural events for the community such as the Haloween, Xmas, Deepavali and recent CNY and upcoming Iftar arrangement. 5. "Moral" or Human Values : Very often International school students being labelled as missing the "moral" piece but as far as my children is concern, they pick up many "human moral" values from day to day activities instead a subject by itself. Namely respect, kindness, responsibility, etc. It is never academic subject but it is something instill through the day to day experience in the school which I appreciate more. 6. Parents communication : There are way too much communication to be read (newsletter, emails) as parents hahaha but this is something I appreciate so that I can get to know more information from my investments. A summary broadcast communication is very welcome if that could be done. 7. SLT: The most responsive Senior Leadership ever, they tireless answer to my queries and very receptive to our feedback and willing to work with parents to improve the children education experiences. Thanks Cassie! Kudos to the CEO who instil this culture when he is still the principal in the campus. Overall I am a happy parent today, I saw how the then my 7 year old transform to a young man (secondary this year) now with the help of the caring teachers namely Ms Gan and Mr Robert, the early years are fantastic , thanks to Ms Dennis, the primary is going through a very very exciting facelift this year under Mr Wilcock leadership.
Poor management . Mediocre teachers. Hardly any expat teachers, mostly local and inexperienced teachers. School is small, fees are high, be sure to check the teacher's background, you will be shocked at what you find .
My children love the school and it’s very multi cultural with equal opportunities for all.

I am so pleased with how my child has progressed in Gems. Very good, helpful teachers and staff.
My kids are happy with the school. Teachers are good and they are very concern with my kids well being.. fees is okay, worth the teaching quality.. i like the school environtment, not too many students in a class.. teachers always updating me on their progress.. keep it up GEMS
Experienced and passionate teachers. I also like how GEMS always maintain open communication with parents, be it matters related to my girl or any updates from the school.
I think GEMS is one of the most secure and complete establishment in Klang Valley or in the country. Their unique vision putting their children safe and happy first is truly admirable.
Repatriation and transitioning back to the country was made easier for my boys with Gems, the school and especially the teachers. Fees are reasonable. Family happy!
New but growing school with very organised curriculum. It has great facilities. Students are increasing year on year. High teaching standard. My children enjoy the school very much
Anthony Partington is an excellent Principal and his leadership skills transcends throughout the School. Exceptional education enjoyed by all students.
Music coaching and great after school activities. Great school management and provide excellent learning environment!

My daughters attend this school for 1.5 years. Teachers are very friendly, helpful. My children and I like this school. For me, Gems is: friendly teachers and management, interesting lessons, comfortable atmosphere and delicious food.

We are so happy that enrolled in GEMS! My son is 5 y.o and now study at early years class. We, as parents, can see his progress in English, reading, maths and other disciplines every day! And he is also very happy every morning going to school. That means he really likes Teachers and whole atmosphere there. And big thanks to our teachers ms Short, mr Crispin and others

My daughter joined Secondary section in Sept 2019 from another International school.After one term I can say it was a good decision.I can see a big change in her studies and approach .Good teachers and best support
