Summer International Secondary School focuses on creating creators whereby we teach children to share and communicate their ideas, set goals, collaborate, work in a team and take on leadership roles while developing creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in every class. Which is why our dedicated teachers carefully curate their lessons to involve lots of problem-solving and project-based activities to ensure students are actively engaging and are able to relate to the lessons in class. This sets our school apart. Students are not only gaining the knowledge to succeed in their future studies, but they are guided to apply this knowledge in a practical way. We encourage students to take on leadership roles by asking questions, researching, and applying concepts in ways that will equip them to solve real world problems confidently. SISS students are academically strong leaders who can work independently or in a team, they are able to express themselves through the arts, and most importantly; they are not afraid to try new things because they have learnt firsthand that failure is a step on the way to success. We believe that confident, supported students also perform better in higher education, and adapt to changes more quickly and easily. Education is more than a certificate or exam scores; here, alongside their friends and teachers, students discover their strengths, talents, and passions to prepare for university and life beyond. At the end, we want to create fantastic magical moments, friendships, and community for the students - as these memories of how to learn, build, and create, as well as make friends and create a community become their building blocks in life as they boldly pursue their goals.
