Dehong Beijing International Chinese School opened in September 2019 as the second school in the Dehong family, a sister school of Dulwich College International within the Education in Motion (EiM) group. Set in the Grassetown development in Tongzhou District, north Beijing, it offers a complete pathway from Kindergarten through Elementary and Secondary School and educates more than 600 students. Dehong blends high-quality international education with Chinese language and culture, nurturing students who are rooted in Chinese values while developing a global outlook and the competencies to lead in a changing world.

Dehong Beijing is an authorised IB World School. Its high school begins with a bespoke Grade 10 Pioneer Year that develops the academic and personal skills needed for the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) studied in Grades 11 and 12, including the core components Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). The wider curriculum combines the Chinese National Curriculum with an inquiry-based, interdisciplinary programme and the Dulwich Difference, incorporating STEAM and the SE21 framework.
