Invictus International School Phnom Penh opened in 2020 with six students and belongs to the Invictus group of schools founded in Singapore in 2015, which now has campuses in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Cambodia. It offers an affordable international education from Nursery to Year 13 (ages 3 to 18). Nursery and Reception follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage; Years 1 to 6 follow the Cambridge Primary curriculum; and the Secondary School covers Cambridge Lower Secondary (Years 7 to 9, ending with the Cambridge Checkpoint examinations), the two-year IGCSE course and Cambridge International A Levels, with a Singapore-inspired approach that includes Singapore Mathematics.

The campus is on Preah Norodom Boulevard (Street 41) in Tonle Bassac, a few minutes from Independence Monument. Families do not pay an annual facility fee, and students can transfer to other Invictus schools in the region if their family relocates, subject to government clearances. French and Mandarin are offered as additional languages from Nursery through to A Levels, and the early years programme can be studied bilingually with Khmer, French or Mandarin; language classes open when there is sufficient demand.

My son began the year online with reception and can now thankfully study onsite. In just a few months he has made some lovely friends and is happy with his teacher who remained patient, fun and creative throughout the ups and downs of school closures during COVID-19. I'm very happy to have found a school that cares about involving families in decision making and find the Principal to be extremely approachable and capable. Looking forward to spending some quality years at Invictus.

My children are students at this school. When they were in school, children loved school because of their kind teachers and friends. And after doing online class because of Corona, I found out that this school is really good. The teachers who teach difficult concepts easily and interestingly were really good. It was a real-time two-way class, so the children were focused throughout the class. I am a student at Invictus International School Phnom Penh. I feel like the school is helping me to learn a lot. I enjoy Maths, English and Science the most. I also have French lessons, art, music, ICT, and coding too. I like the Teachers. I like the Library. I like the food. I like the playground. The school is a great place.

My 8-year old started online schooling last week in Year 4. She was initially a little anxious about starting school online with a new teacher and classmates but after her first day she absolutely loves it. Her teachers are enthusiastic and engaging and her classmates were friendly and welcoming right from the beginning. Even though we are online and we don't get to see anyone in person there is still a great sense of school community.
