Even though many people specify that this school is not worth the money, it surely is. This school compared to other international schools in korea has a significant and well deserved tuiton fee compared to even smaller interational schools in korea. Furthermore, many people argue the claim that YISS has bad teachers, while you can surely argue the fact that teachers are stricter than others, academically YISS teachers are very well trained, but their personality can 100 percent affect a students view on the teacher. Adding on, sports is excellent. I claim this because YISS cannot change or add any other sports to the KAIAC season, so arguing that YISS should add more sports is a very straightfoward argument. However YISS also needs people to tryout to make into sports teams, and those that do if do not follow YISS policy (failing a class, behavior issue, etc) are immediately kicked out from the team or cant participate in jamborees. This means that YISS only accepts people that are not only athletic wise good, but also people who can maintain a good academic status. Music and arts is also very good because YISS spents a good chunk of its budget towards keeping instruments in good condition, and buying luxury instruments that the school could use in later dates such as concerts, and places that are needed. The technology is great because i believe that the tech office staff are one of the most high trained staff here at YISS, and i know this due to the fact that most of these staff have been here since i joined YISS, back in 2017. Adding on to the fact that i have been here since 2017, many people argue that recess is terrible. Recess is not the best, however elementary recess is much more high quality because they go on the field, and also have 2 recess times. A few adjusements could be made to the recess in older grades of the school, however this is not the biggest issue in the world. Lastly, the campus is extremely well maintained and students are taught to clean up for themselves, making the jobs of the cleaning ladies easier. In conclusion, i would say this school has problems such as grading systems and such, but is surely a very high quality international private school in korea.

This seems like a great school but are there any dorms near the school , how much is the school fee, do you teach different languages except for Spanish and French, what king of courses are there, if it’s your first time in Korea is there a way I can go to the school will the school pa for certain things and how do I transfer from a school in America to a school in Korea? My apologies if I asked to many questions but please try your best to answer. And also, what kind of after school activities do you have. Please list as many as you want and again my apologies if I asked too many questions.

Yongsan International School of Seoul is very average school. Academics has got very little focus. Its ok to have focus on religion, but probably that's the only thing they are focused on here and little else. Its a church, not a school... google should change the category of this posting! Teachers are way too average and "artificial" in the way they present themselves... have seen them get basic spellings and 2 digit summations wrong in elementary school... and these weren't errors, they repeat those mistakes!
