About Winford Bilingual Primary School
Winford Bilingual Primary School offers a bilingual education ratio of 50% English and 50% Dutch. We have created our own unique curriculum using the Dutch national curriculum and the UK national curriculum, both of which are linked closely with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Each classroom has a fully qualified English and Dutch speaking teacher. Each teacher speaks their native language to our students, and all subjects are taught in both languages.
This helps Winford Bilingual Primary School children develop their communication and comprehension abilities in both Dutch and English.

How would you rate Winford Bilingual Primary School?
Partly biased as I work with the school, but it gives an unrivalled focus on the individual needs of all of their students. I have only good things to say about the school.
Writing as a member of staff, I love working in this small bilingual school environment. There is a dedicated and enthusiastic team of teachers. They really care about the student's and there is a "close community" feel. It is a pleasure going to work each day and seeing happy, smiling children.
Warm staff, great location with a unique curriculum. Gives families more options for acclimatizing.
GREAT school. We love it. The staff is extremely caring, amazing with all the children, involved and give a welcome and friendly atmosphere from the start. My son is thriving as are the other children from what I see and know. There is such a community around the kids and families. There is diversity and such great education! I am always impressed with the level of hard work and compassion balanced at this school from all educators. My son has loved this school from day one.

An amazing primary school! It offers truly bilingual eduction as each class has both an English and a Dutch teacher. The groups are small, thus ensuring lots of one-on-one attention for each child. The atmosphere is really friendly and welcoming and the prepared warm lunches are a nice bonus!.

We have been at the School for many years and have enjoyed the great caring, professional team. The focus on education and what is best for each child - making each child feel important and special has given our children such a great sense of self. We also love that they have been fully immersed since a young age in a bilingual environment - making them learn both languages at native speaker level in such an natural/organic way. Warm lunches and flexible holidays are literally the cherry on the cake! Needles to say we are big fans and supporters of the School's vision and how it is applied in the classroom's everyday life.

A wonderful bilingual school with lot’s of individual attention for each child. Een hele fijne tweetalige basisschool waar goed naar de individuele ontwikkeling van ieder kind gekeken wordt.
