Victoria International is an amazing school. I was a teacher there for 5 years. The quality of education students received was unmatched and continually got better every year. I am an American licensed teacher but will give more than due credit the quality of Aussie education. In fact, I learned and filled so many gaps or gained new perspectives in my own education while I was at school. The school during my time was selective but equitably inclusive. It was also a modern school in a conservative emirate. If you want rote learning and test takers it’s probably not the right place for your child. I recall providing a truly international education that made future leaders. The school is built for the 21st century and the administration encourages teachers to have the mindsets to teach with modern methods.

I have 3 kids at this school. Facilities are excellent and teacher, all Australian or New Zealand, are very good. They manage to respect Arab tradition with Western education. Facilities are excellent. Price are high. Entry exam is mandatory to evaluate children capabilities to understand English. I really have to tank so many teacher here for the great effort they put in my kids education.

One of the things I enjoy about this school is their community celebrations. days like Flag day. National Day, International Day, grandparents and friends day are welcoming to everyone. My kids love it

My children had a great experience at this school they have now returned to their home country and remember their time fondly. They remember the support given to them by particular teachers that made the difference to their success!

I have three children in school for 9 years. I hope this is sufficient for me to give my opinion for whoever is considering this school: 1- The school is big, clean and has very good facilities 2- the environment is safe and positive. I rarely hear of problem. Kids like to go to school as they make good friends and like their teachers 3- many activities is being arranged so interactive 4- the school welcome parents anytime to discuss any matter concerning their children 5- The school doesn’t look to be taught for students . So don’t see tense exams/homework atmosphere at home. All above is great, positive. Nevertheless, I have mention the negative side too: 1- they don’t have a specific Book for many subject that students can take home, study from. They encourage online study through certain platforms that VISS gave to students access too . While these tools can definitely great and so helpful and I love them ...But I still need to see Book in hand of student that can tell me what my son/daughter is supposed to know At this age in this subject . That would help me to assess the student at home and see if I need to be involved on supporting in certain areas. I have mentioned this to VISS many times. I don’t see they are willing to change their policy 2- exam , homework side. I see they are super lite. I prefer to see more exams and more homework so the students can review what they took in class to ensure they don’t move to next grade with knowledge gap 3- curriculum is Victorian Australian as I understood. But I think VISS is giving lite version of it (maybe iam wring anc it’s just impression ). But I’m worried if I moved my kids one day to another school or different county. Will they be up to the right level they are supposed to be in? Not to mention that my children are graded well in their assessments in VISS in all their subjects. Finally , I would say all staff are professional. From teachers , admin office, to security and facility etc. I wish VISS a great success . Iam happy to have 3 children going to this school and they are so attached to it .
