About The Wingate School (TWS)
The Wingate School (TWS) is a British International School in Mexico City which offers an educational programme focussed on academic excellence, creativity and human formation. The school aims to form a community of critical thinkers who have a multicultural perspective and strong social commitment.
This enables each child to fulfil his or her potential for intellectual, emotional, social and moral development.
We aim to be a source of inspiration for our pupils so that they recognise the value of learning, self-discipline and helping others.
Incorporated into the SEP (the Mexican Ministry of Education), we are an accredited Cambridge International School and offer the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), as well as the globally recognised Cambridge programme.
The Wingate School has been awarded the Foundation Certificate of the British Council’s International School Award and was voted “One of the 10 best international schools in Latin America” in January 2019.

How would you rate The Wingate School (TWS)?
TWS is our second family. Great teachers and staff members within a beautiful environment, promote high standards both in academics and character formation. My children are spending their childhood in the best school ever.
We are pleased to report that [our children] are happy at their international school [in Europe]… However, it is their first three school years at TWS that have left such a lasting impression, endowed them with such a joy for learning and gave them such a great introduction to the English language, the world of books, music, and much more.

This school has an environment that feels like a home with excellent professionals who are top in their fields. The education and values imparted to the children stand out far beyond what is offered by other institutions. I have had the privilege to experience The Wingate School first hand from working here and having a child in attendance.
