Great school that helps you develop essential skills for university, which are greatly needed in today's fast developing world. While the burden of daily exams and constant academic pressure is used as a reason to deter others from joining, it must be remembered that this allows students to be able to cope with meeting deadlines and completing academic tasks at university without any stress or pressure. Moreover, confidence is instilled in every single student of this school from their early days. However, there are some flaws in the system. For instance, the school needs to immediately set a definite policy on whether it will be able to prepare students for either the British A Levels or American APs, entirely focused on one system rather than teaching both. Unfortunately, at the moment the school is focused mainly on the American APs and rarely gives the attention needed for British A Levels. If they are going to continue with the tag of preparing students for British A Levels, they need to seriously focus on bringing up a separate system for teaching these courses, over a period of 2 years rather than one (which is the current system) otherwise stop doing so. Additionally, the SLO needs an urgent revamp to restore its lost glory and ensure the actual idea behind it is upheld, rather than making it a "Working" Area of the school where only a few students are tasked with dealing with every single section of the SLO, pushing most from joining. While at the moment no advantageous reward is evident to attract any student to join, a few necessary reforms can be made to encourage students to begin joining again! In addition, students who have worked hard at this school in the SLO must receive more recognition for their hardwork, rather than making them go unnoticed and forgotten! The long school hours could be shortened by shortening the breaks or a few minutes of some lessons, but that is a debatable issue. Teachers at this school are great and highly experienced (especially the ones in High School), and most work hard to ensure students achieve their desired future goals. Even with the flawed preparation system for A Levels, they have been able to teach entire 2 year courses within a year, and nurture students to achieve their true potential! Most teachers have a great connection with their students and tend to take the class together through every lesson, putting students at much ease and helping them whenever needed. The examination systems are well set to ensure the course is repeated several times, thereby ensuring the student learns what is needed (obviously that again depends on how the student use this themselves to study, either to their advantage or disadvantage). The school serves as a great platform for preparation for American APs and SAT Subjects, with students achieving high scores in either! Variety of sports and activities available for anyone truly dedicated and interested. The school has a Student Life Organisation (SLO) dedicated to managing student events, ensuring students are able to cope academically and socially at school. It serves as communication between the admin and students themselves. Helps develop great communication and teamwork skills. Ensures no student is left behind academically by providing the required help and helps prevent bullying issues in the school. Not to forget the great level of respect given to Seniors (12th Graders) and alumni, with special events and ceremonies being held in their honor. Overall a memorable experience with many highs and lows over the years. Made several friends and great relations with many others over the past 7 years! Graduate of the Class of 2019
