About The British School of Egypt

The British School of Egypt (BSE) is a co-educational British international school delivering the National Curriculum for England. At The BSE, we have devised and implemented a wonderfully student-centred approach which we call Complete Well BSE-ing. Complete Well BSE-ing is a unique and holistic approach to maintaining a childs’ Academic Well Being; Physical Well Being; Social & Emotional Well Being; and their Spiritual Well Being.

We believe if pupils learn how to live well for school, they will understand how to live well for life.

BSE utterly shocked and disappointed to find out this school only cares for their image, nobody really cares for children, their well being and real academic learning. School resembles prison, teachers are instructed to achieve specific targets so they are obsessed with the end target like Star of the week using house points, that they completely forget that kids need to enjoy their education. Parents are bullied and not listened to if they raise concerns or ask uncomfortable questions. In short they don't provide quality education, stay way if you truly care for your child.

I had much higher expectations before my son joins from the old timers! Unfortunately, the school system has been distributed since the conflicts related to tuition fees (with the ministry of education); They kind of separated new classes from old ones where, not only the level of education in addition to the social level dropped but also the administrative shortcomings increased. They are, originally, complicated compared to American system schools; they send 15-minutes reading emails to delivers information that can be, literally, delivered in 2 sentences. In general the school campus is clean and well maintained. Now, I’m leaving and I hope they get well soon :)
