About Repton Dubai

Repton Dubai is a prominent international school in the heart of Dubai. One of the few genuinely international schools in the Gulf Region, Repton combines the reputation and academic rigour of the UK curriculum.

Repton’s philosophy of developing the whole child, through academic, creative and sporting arenas are further enhanced with the stunning campus in Nad Al Sheba. Repton pupils from ages 3-18 benefit from facilities, classroom resources and a sporting experience that is the envy of their peers.

A Repton education enables our students to leave school with a series of core traditional British values and character traits that will enable them to thrive as adults; courageous and curious, well mannered and responsible and determined to make a positive difference to those around them.

At Repton, we all aim for:

‘The rigorous pursuit of excellence, inside and outside the classroom, combined with a passionate concern for the wellbeing of each individual.’

I have only been in school for once and everything is great about it! The school is great but some younger students such as grade 8-9's jokes can get out of line quite often yet if we don't count what is going in the changing rooms of boys everything is great!!

We have been in Dubai for 4 years and my children are thriving in Senior school. There are so many opportunities. Highly recommend a visit to the school.

TLDR: Teachers aren't so good, bullying is still a big problem, unnecessary rules present. Some teachers barely even teach in lessons. Do not educate your child(ren) here; they'll absolutely hate it. I went here for five years, and got moved to a different school because the teachers do absolutely nothing in regards to bullying. The no bags rule is really annoying; if you drop them or trip on the way to class its a pain to pick them all up again and you might be sanctioned for lateness. Once me and a friend were sent to tally up house points during break and didn't get to eat our snack, and were told off because we were late, even though we explained we were tallying house points! we weren't even allowed to eat it because the next lesson had started. Couldn't even focus that lesson, and was further told off for staring into space! UNBELIEVABLE! >:( I had some amazing teachers between 2010-2015, despite some being a little strict. From what i've read, teacher quality has gone severely downhill, as has literally everything else. Some features aren't here (e.g theatre) as promised, the art program is low on funds and there's no guidance counsellor (unless you count head of pastoral care). Oh yeah; the bathrooms smell terrible, like they haven't been cleaned in a decade. Was much nicer in my time. This definitely explains why 60% of my friends moved schools. !!!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE !!!!!
