About QSI International School of Astana

Welcome to QSI International School of Astana. We are a group of people who are committed to growing and learning together. We, as all schools around the world, have faced the challenge of the global pandemic. The Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote:

“While it is true that someone can impede our actions, they cannot impede our intentions and our attitude, which have the power of being conditional and adaptable. For the mind adapts and converts any obstacle to is action as a means of achieving it. That which is an impediment to action is turned to advance action. The obstacle on the path becomes the way.”

As a result of our response to the pandemic, we have become nimbler and more resilient. We have dedicated ourselves to the passionate creation of engaging and empowering learning experiences for our students in whatever mode of learning our school adopts. Our teaching faculty have served and continue to serve our students and families. Our parents, students, faculty, and staff have worked as a team to create and maintain this wonderfully warm community.

I went here 2013-2016 and it was a fantastic experience. This is where I met my future wife. It was a great place for high school and it launched its first AP programmes when I was there.

Honestly the best school experience I've ever had in my life. They actually teach you things that you would require in life. The students strength is very diverse, which really pushes towards learning about different cultures. Again, the experience will always stay unforgettable for me. Till then, good bye QSI

I loved it there in QSI! It was a great time. I got to meet all kinds of people. I liked the way that they taught us many kinds of things. What I especially enjoyed was P.S. We played lots of sports and we also had a field that we could go to at recess.I spent about 3 and a half year in Astana, Kazakhstan and going to QSI was the best thing that happened there. I came from Korea in 2012 and left there in 2015. I became to like meeting different people, and met a lot of friends. QSI is a place that I recommend to people who live in Kazakhstan or anyone who is planning to stay in Kazakhstan. From an old QSI student, Ella Kim P.S. The school was so~~~ big that it took a lot of time for me to memorize the school.

I strongly believe that it is the best international school in Astana. It provides education in English that meets international standards. I also like that school makes every effort to create conditions to every kid to become successful not only in academic but also in character developing process. Another advantage is a really-really diverse students.

Education and teachers were okay, but there were some bullying and vandalism sometimes that made me hate the school for the rest of my life!
