About Park House English School
At Park House English School, we are passionate about learning and are driven by our quest to ensure that students take responsibility for their own futures by becoming successful, creative and happy lifelong learners.
At Park House English School, we believe learning is maximised when children understand why they are learning a skill or concept, and how this can be applied in the real world.
In the Early Years, we follow the topics of the carefully structured and varied International Primary Curriculum program based on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We nurture a child-centred approach to learning, where children are encouraged to develop their social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills; skills that they will rely on for the rest of their lives.
In the Primary School, English and Mathematics are taught with the guidance of the National Curriculum of England. To ensure breadth we incorporate the International Primary Curriculum; a thematic, cross-curricular, inquiry-based approach to learning with the eight personal goals underpinning all that we aim to achieve in school.
In the Secondary School we also follow the National Curriculum of England in Key Stage 3, thus preparing our pupils well for the choices they will make at (I)GCSE and A-Level. Our approach helps our pupils achieve exceptional academic results. Extra-curricular activities extend the opportunities for students even further.
We believe that nurturing reflective learners and actively encouraging leadership ensures that students can develop, progress, and have the resilience to compete at the highest levels in all areas of life.
The ethos of our school is central to developing and maintaining high standards of academic achievement and also in nurturing positive, respectful and responsible future citizens. Both staff and students are proud of the community spirit, mutual support and respect that is reflected in the great relationships between all.

How would you rate Park House English School?
Have been in this school for multiple years, and could really tell how disgraceful it's getting each year. The teachers are not qualified and the majority of the students are expected to teach themselves half the syllabus and their excuse for their laziness is "This will train you for uni". They care about the money more than the students and make us go through inhumane smells and odors from corridors and toilets. Very very very disappointed that i stayed in this school when I had the opportunity to leave
They dont accept kid outside age group? That does not align with Qatari government regulation and also British curriculum, so what? Kid only 2 weeks older cant study at all? Where should they go? Stupid to have this kind criteria in 2022. And yet u call ur self a school?
Very poor admission system and most teachers are under-qualified

Park House's secondary teachers are just spot on, especially the science and maths teachers (other subject teachers are also amazing). However, that is not the point I am focusing on today. The point is that primary teachers are just unqualified... the year 6 math teacher. Let me tell you why. He/She doesn't know her simple maths right!!! And yet he/she is teacher year 6 HIGHER maths group.... ridiculous right? The question was very simple asking you to find the length of one side of a CUBE when the volume is given and yet he/she got it wrong... Overall, the school facilities are good and well maintained, just the quality of teachers

Resonating with other comments about the admissions process and fees. I have dealt with the school on 2 occasions and it seems to be a money making scheme. Went with another school as we got an acceptance letter. This was a week after applying to Park House. I called Park House to check the status. They had not looked at the application and when asked for a refund for not checking the application, they changed their story and said they did look at it and are considering so that they would not have to refund application fee.
