About National High Jakarta School (NHJS)
Since its inception, National High Jakarta School (NHJS) has focused on Character Development, Academic Excellence and Life-skills as her three pillars of education. To date, NHJS has excelled in international benchmark examinations such as the iPSLE (The Singapore International Primary School Examination) and IGCSE O Level (The International General Certificate of Secondary Education) CIE A Level (Cambridge International Examinations) examinations as well as competitions such as ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools). These accolades are testament for our excellent programmes for the academics.
Moving forward, we will be re-balancing our focus to ensure better programmes for Character Development and Life-skills. The holistic development of all our children are our priority. We want to nurture them to be confident Piagetians who can articulate our values and put them into action. We want to equip them to deal with real life situations and open their eyes to diversity of thoughts and realities. We want to enable all our children to be able to feel compassion for others and have a heightened sense of empathy.
We will continue to tap on the strong support of our parents and partners to create more opportunities to expose our students to authentic learning situations. We believe in generative conversations and constructive feedback from partners to improve our school and learning for all our charges.

How would you rate National High Jakarta School (NHJS)?
I don't think some of them can be called teachers, more like “people who work in a school”! Not worth the money!
Biaya sekolah Internasional ini termasuk mahal tapi fasilitasnya memprihatinkan. Sebaiknya datang ke sekolah ini dulu atau ikut open house sebelum parent ambil keputusan. Lebih dari setengah gurunya adalah orang Filipin, tidak ada guru Inggris native. Banyak guru keluar masuk setiap tahunnya bahkan di tengah tahun. Banyak birokrasi dalam manajemennya dan suka susah untuk tau siapa yang bertanggung jawab dan kemana mesti berbicara dalam situasi dan kondisi tertentu. Ada banyak rumor tentang skandal mengenai principalnya dan sekarang ambil cuti mungkin berhubungan dengan skandal itu. Principal beberapa kali terbuka ngomong tentang masalah keuangan yang dihadapi sekolah dan sepertinya itu dibenarkan dengan berkurangnya jumlah murid. Lebih teliti lagi sebelum memilih sekolah, banyak sekolah internasional di Jakarta Barat atau di area lain yang lebih baik untuk anak kita.

Amazing school The teachers and administration engage with the students and they are very nice. There are many activities for children to participate in the school community. Facilities are nice

Horrendous place. The teachers aren’t so bad, but the physical facility is falling apart and the students are terrible. The “””student council””” literally does nothing and the insanely high price tag doesn’t justify the experience you’ll get there. The only reason why I’m making this review is because I can’t give 0-star reviews.

A few years ago, this school seems like a good school to go to. Now it has not been renovated properly which has led its facility and management to worsen.xD
