Mutiara Harapan Islamic School (MHIS) is a private Islamic school, located in South Tangerang, Indonesia. We are dedicated to nurturing our students with Islamic and innovative educational methods, while helping to mold them to be noble individuals spiritually, morally, and ethically, guiding them to academic excellence, and strong leadership abilities. MHIS is a Cambridge International School since 2012, a leading Islamic school that combined national and international curriculum in South Tangerang.
MHIS has become SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) previously known as ‘International School’ since January 2015 and has been accredited ‘A’ by the government. The School international environment is obvious from the presence of students and teachers from different nationalities interacting with one another in the spirit of Islamic unity. Being an Islamic school means we emphasize an integrated and balanced student development – intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional and social based on the Islamic values.
This means spiritual and character education is regarded as equally important as Intellectual education.

How would you rate Mutiara Harapan Islamic School (MHIS)?
It's alright, I had pretty good friends but the teachers are pretty harsh to students. I had good grades and was a pretty good student, although in 2022 I caused lots of drama. I was also bullied for being short and small. But I was mostly bullied by this one dude, (he didn't only bully me but lots of other people, I also remember him and his "gang" SA'ing my friend as a "joke" lots of stuff happened in this school but I'm to lazy to type all of that.

Cambridge curriculum, Lessons deliver in english, Parent - Teacher and school communication is effective, a lot of open space , parking space is adequate I would say.

I am deeply honored to be one of the teachers in this school. Mutiara Harapan is a great school. Our school has adopted Cambridge Curriculum and focused on improving standards across all levels. Our explicit improvement agenda is to improve the academic achievement levels and islamic values of all students.
