How would you rate Lycée Francais International Marguerite Duras?
An excellent establishment to attain international baccalauréat. Nice campus. Good all-round bilingual learning. Highly recommended.
No better relation between cost and teaching quality. Besides a very solid academic value my kids enjoy great activities in sports and arts, not only in Saigon but through many trips/exchanges during the year with other International French School in Asia.

I go to this school, and throughout the years i’ve been here there are a few things i could say, pros and cons. The facility is clean, and big enough for the younger students to run around and play. The secondary students don’t have that space as we tend to just walk around and talk to one another. We have a theatre for plays that the school organizes each year, but the theatre is pretty small for the amount of students this school holds. The lunch is served by The Caterers, and the food is good most of the time, in my opinion. We have a self for kids from 4th grade (i assume?) till 12th. The classrooms are pretty moderately sized, they could definitely be bigger, each room has a projector which is pretty good, but sometimes there are problems. We have an IT room just for technology class, a library called CDI and a BCDI (CDI for the secondary and BCDI for primary students.) Overall the school isn’t really lacking, except in some factors that i will not state, but the fees are flexible for French students, Vietnamese students and Foreign students, the french have a 50% discount (or so i believe) and the vietnamese a 25% (?) discount. The foreigners pay the full price, the teachers here are nice (most of the time). But if you aren’t confident in the french language i do not suggest coming. We also have language classes such as English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese. We have more language classes but they are very very rare. Overall, the school is pretty good for the average international french school, and so much cheaper compared to the normal international schools here in vietnam!
