About Hermann Oberth International German School
Hermann Oberth International German School was first founded as an alternative to public schools, in the early 2000s, aimed at German nationals and German enthusiasts. As the demand for German increased, Hermann Oberth International German School began offering bilingual education, German-Romanian, but also English-Romanian.
To cater to the needs of a growing school community, Hermann Oberth International German School built a new school campus, where all school-aged students are to begin the new school year (2021-2022). In addition, Hermann Oberth International German School is offering the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to its 11th and 12th graders, with a wide array of courses to select from (Mother tongue: German, English, Romanian), foreign languages (German B, French B, English B, Chinese ab initio, Italian ab initio, Spanish ab initio, French ab initio, German ab initio), 5 natural sciences (Physics, Biology, ESS, Chemistry, Computer Science), 5 human sciences (History, Psychology, Business Management, Economics, Global Politics) math (AA, AI) and Visual Arts.
Biology and History can be offered in either English or German.
