Founded by Edward Greene in 1967, under the name Edward Greene’s Tutorial Establishment, Greene’s is Oxford’s oldest tutorial college and has seen approximately 15,000 international students pass through its doors.
Our individualised programmes are rooted in the tutorial system, a method of learning synonymous with the University of Oxford. We have remained true to this educational philosophy for decades, which allows us to design courses of individual tuition for all students, regardless of their background.
In 2017, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, Greene’s opened a sister College in Portugal and became the first educational institution to bring the tutorial system to the country, making it also available to all Portuguese speaking countries.
Greene’s Tutorial College Estoril is there for a sister college to the oldest tutorial college in Oxford, UK, specialised in the British curriculum, helping students navigate their IGCSEs and A-Levels. Greene’s provides individual study programmes based on each student’s learning style. Pace and goals are delivered by thoughtfully selected, inspired tutors. Students can sit examinations at Greene’s for both Cambridge International and Edexcel boards.
Amazing school I was glad to be the vice president of the student committee I had a blast and learned a lot in the college. Hard work rewarding, I had good grades also because of the amazing tutors. With these grades I was able to get into Berklee College of music in Boston where I wil be taking Music and Management.
Great college! Really enjoyed being the president of the student committee at Greene´s Tutorial College. The college environment is great at building good connections between staff and students.
Ótima escola! Realmente gostei muito de ser o presidente da Associação de Estudantes do Greene's Tutorial College. O ambiente da escola em si é ótimo para construir boas conexões entre funcionários e alunos.
