About French International School of Brussels (EFI Brussels)
The French International School of Brussels (EFI Brussels) is a French school certified by the French Ministry of Education and approved as partner of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). The school is part of the Odyssey school network, which includes several schools around the world.
EFI Brussels is a bilingual school (French and English) and it follows the curriculum of the French Ministry of Education.
EFI Brussels combines French academic excellence and the dynamism of international schools. This combination of the “best of both worlds” is supported by a French and international educational team rigorously selected to implement a unique educational model in Brussels where students of all nationalities will be supported on the path to success.
EFI Brussels currently welcomes students from Early Years (2 and half years old) to CM2 (10 years old). The middle and high school will be opened by 2024 and students will obtain French state diplomas: the Brevet national diploma with its international option and the Baccalauréat with its international option (OIB), as well as international language certifications.
The school is established at the Domaine Latour de Freins and offers a pleasant, prestigious and safe environment wholly dedicated to our pupils’ learning and development.

In this new French International School of Brussels, it is a point of honor to offer a framework that combines French academic excellence (quality of teaching, academic rigor, mastery of writing) and the dynamism Anglo-Saxon (importance of fulfillment, benevolence, active pedagogy, openness to the international). The French and international educational team has been carefully selected. After the opening in September 2019, of the Small Kindergarten (3 years) to the CM1 (9 years), each year, the EFI will open additional levels and the College will begin in September 2021 followed by the Lycée in September 2024. On the pedagogical project side, the establishment advocates a bilingual English French education in tune with contemporary trends: excellence, international openness and fulfillment. All this in the exceptional and green setting of the Domaine de Latour de Brains.

Be careful, the website of this school is misleading. In reality the building belongs to an international English-speaking school and the French school has very little space.
