My children have been in the Lower (primary) and Upper (secondary) school at Dwight for several years, after relocating from overseas. From when we joined there was a great sense of community - and you can tell that families choose Dwight because they value and are willing to invest in their child's education. It's a mix of local families and international. Dwight is a small school - some say the best kept secret in North London! Teachers really get to know students - how they learn, what they like, what will motivate them - so they engage with their learning. The international baccalaureate programme starting with the primary years programme, and continuing to IB diploma - works so well because it connects subjects and ideas. I can see my children learning HOW to learn, not just WHAT to learn. They are being taught how to question, how to have an opinion, how to express their ideas. Alongside the academics - there are after school clubs (Lego, art, build a go cart, karate) and sports teams (basketball, boys/girls football, volleyball, netball). The leadership team know all students by name and their families - there is such a great home/school partnership, with a true open door policy, they will listen and act on feedback. They handled the past year of lockdowns seamlessly - google classroom was already in place, teachers adjusted lesson plans to accomodate remote learning, and there were check-ins with families and feedback surveys to see how things were going. Overall, Dwight has been instrumental in our family settling in London and my children's successful and positive attitude to school and their education.

What a wonderful school! It is a place where every child, their interests and talents are celebrated. The IB curriculum is rigorous but engaging eg my child when age 9 was learning about Economics and, rather than the rote learning of the UK system we had previously encountered, got to learn his Maths in the context of creating a product and learning about profit and loss and his English was why we use persuasive language to market the product. The classes are really small and the environment very nurturing where the teachers really know their students and personalise the teaching to tailor to their learning style. There is a real sense of community and we love that they are exposed to different nationalities and cultures. We are happy that Dwight is part of a wonderful network of schools with sister schools in NYC, Seoul, Dubai and Shanghai and there is a real parent partnership. The students are empowered in shaping their learning experience, giving back to the community and suggesting ideas for the school. My children are also learning real life and learning skills for University and beyond including critical thinking, entrepreneur skills, current affairs and even how to manage their budget. Online learning was seamless since technology is very advanced in the school and during non Covid times there are plenty of trips locally and abroad to enhance their learning experience.

I have two children who attend Dwight School London, I am shocked to read the review saying that the students were rude. In my experience Dwight students are extremely well mannered and polite. My children love their school and as a parent I am more than happy with the education that they are receiving. Small classes, great teaching and most importantly they are extremely happy!!

I am a student at Dwight London, and it is a good school overall, however the two complexes can be improved. A viable choice for a new international students coming into London. Very welcoming staff and teachers.

Went to school here for 5 years. Really enjoyed my time here as a student since the students are all extremely friendly, the teachers almost all welcoming and the teaching of generally excellent quality. The facilities however were somewhat lacking and some of the teachers questionable in regards to their teaching quality and completely understanding what they're teaching. However, this did not prevent me from having an incredible, eye-opening and wonder experience at this school.

Ive had the pleasure of attending some of the best academic institutions in the US and the U.K. Unfortunately I have also attended one of the worst in my opinion - Dwight School London, renamed once again, to cover its disgraceful practice. They charge you actual money for some of the worst facilities and teachers I have ever seen. To this day I am stunned by the attitude of this school and the method of teaching. For example when I was there a teacher had a tongue piercing, yet the school is against such things going against dress code Horrible location, horrible school. Thank me later.
