Deerfield Academy, founded in 1797, is an independent, coeducational boarding and day school located in Western Massachusetts. Students at Deerfield Academy pursue a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that fosters the development of creativity and intellectual maturity, and promotes individual and community growth through shared challenge. Deerfield realizes the need for more than a sole pursuit of academics and has developed the academic system to allow students the opportunity to connect with many aspects of the Deerfield community while also pursing a satisfying academic course load.

Deerfield Academy is an exceptional school in a stunningly beautiful and well preserved New England village. Definitely worth a detour to visit! Students here seem very happy, facilities are lavish and academics are reputed to be outstanding.
