About Colégio Miguel de Cervantes
Colégio Miguel de Cervantes was born with the driving force of great ideals. Its history is made up of dreams, concrete challenges, hard work, utopia and reality. The ideal conceived by a group of Spaniards living in São Paulo, still in the 1960s, was to establish an educational and cultural center, disseminating the Spanish language and culture, open to all those interested in its pedagogical project, enabling the multicultural integration, representative of the entire Brazilian society.
Founded in 1978, the mission of Colégio Miguel de Cervantes is centered on an educational, interdisciplinary and global project that integrates the Brazilian and Spanish curricula and provides students with an integral, diversified and personalized education.
The proposal for a mixed and integrated curriculum – in a perspective that goes beyond bilingualism and reaches the sphere of multiculturalism – develops throughout the entire school process, from Early Childhood Education to High School.
